REUTERS - Fourth church attacked in Malaysia as Allah row deepens
Arsonists in Malaysia struck a fourth church on Saturday as the government tried to soothe tensions arising from a row over the use of the word "Allah" to refer to the Christian God.
CNN - 4th church firebombed in Allah dispute
Prime Minister Najib Razak visited Metro Tabernacle on Saturday and called for calm.
He also announced a government contribution of 500,000 ringgit, or more than $148,000, to have Metro Tabernacle relocated.
Emphasizing his resolve to maintain ethnic and racial harmony in society, Razak also said the Muslim faith prohibits insulting other religions or destroying their sanctuaries.
AL JAZEERA - Malaysian churches attacked
Police also recieved reports of cars displaying Christian symbols having their windscreens smashed in the suburb of Bangsar.
